Here i have a 1978 triumph spitfire for sale 4 speed with overdrive.I bought this car 2 years ago in new jersey,it was 4 speed with no overdrive.This car was painted by previos owner and they did a lawsy gob.Over spray over windshield seal and window seals. The pinstripes peling off.the engine had a low end noise .I bouhgt a 1980 spitfire with good engine and overdrive transmission and switch everything over,the only thing that didn't have was the shifter i have to reused the old shifter and relocated the overdrive switch by the steering column.The miles on the new engine [the odometer was show 42k] but there was no speedo cable on it.this car run prety good shift good overdrive work perfect,no more high rpm in the highway,i have aftermarket tires and wheel package 14" that came out of my toyota celica .Tires are lemans 185/60R14. the original wheel and tires will be included,they are in perfect condition with centers,trim rings and lug nuts.there is rust in the inside front part of the hood.i do have a good hood that goes with it if you wanted.have a header and monza exhaust,carburator have a manual choke.New parts in trunk:,ball join,tie rod ends rack and pinion boots,boots for clutch and master cyl. and more.the trunk lid have a couples holes in it from the lugage rack,i do have good trunk lid.the top is in good shape.The interior need tlc,the seats need some help.the foam falling apart,the rear panels need to be reglue on place.You could drive this car home with no problem.........If you are local and whant to see the car before you bid just let me know ....Payment require within 7 days, Pick up with in 30 days....Local pick up only ....good luck
