Vehicle Description
1979 Toyota Truck 4x4 made from two trucks the body is from California and most everything else is too. The truck has been titled as a 1979 truck which it is, and I have a 1980 title for the same kind of truck that you will be given also.... The truck is currently a 1979 Toyota truck. It has been in Ohio for about ten years and looks clean. I get many offers from people to buy it and lost of nice things said about it. I barely drove the truck in the winter. It does have some small pin holes... one hole is about the size of a 50 cent piece in the bed side. I did a temp fix by scraping the rust bubbles away and used some white primer and painted over them until I could fix it correctly. This is one of the nicest trucks that I have ever seen in the state of Ohio..... and I have been messing with these trucks for a long time.
The good stuff....
All parts from EB stick Toyota Spealists except for header
Four inch rancho suspension lift duel rancho shocks in the front and singles in the rear. I had 33x12.50 and could have ran 35's.
Flat euro headlights very bright
New old stock head which basically means everything is new and cost alot of money
Over sized stainless steel valves and seats ported behind valves for better flow
New rock crawler cam
I planned to put this on a 22R bottom end that would have given the motor around 200 horse power not to bad for a four cylinder... Until I could find the 22R short block I put this top end on my good running 20R motor and it ran great for about a year. Then the motor developed a crank journal knock in cylinder number one and the truck has not been ran since. It has black bed liner in the bed. Tan seat that matches tan on the floors in the cab of the truck. Newly covered seat... I purchased new tires and rims for the truck right before the bearing problem. I am keeping them, I went to a junk yard and purchased a set of Toyota wheels. The back rims worked fine, but when I bolted up the front all the way the rim hits the tie rod end and will not roll. Since you will be hauling the truck home by trailer it should not be a problem and I can help get it on the trailer or flat bed.
Sold in the United State Only!!! Shipping is the buyers responsibility. Truck is sold as is. I prefer payment method of $500 to be deposited by pay pal until the truck is picked up then the remaining amount will be due at time of pick up. I will only except cash and you will be given a receipt of the bill of sale. Sorry but I have been burned to many times with fake checks and money orders. My name is Jim any questions call me @ 330-517-7095 or email through ebay. Good Luck and happy bidding.
$500.00 deposit due within 24 hours of the auction ending non refundable. The remainging of the money due after deposit will be due upon pick up of the truck. I will keep the truck for one week seven days from the end of the auction so the buyer can make arrangements for the pickup of the truck.
