Up for bid is this sexy, triple silver/gray 2002 Porsche Boxster cabriolet sport (5-spd/2.7 liter). It has been dealer serviced and well taken care of by one meticulous owner. The previous owner utilized this car taking short road trips. Let me mention that this car resided in sunny Florida-never exposed to unfavorable weather. All 60k miles have been pampered driven highway miles and its very obvious. The car has never been smoked in nor in an accident. I have a current and clean carfax report here in my posession for the winning bidder. The next owner will be very pleased with this sassy boxster.
The glossy graphite exterior maintains it's luster all over. There are no signs of oxidation nor abuse. Close-up pictures were taken of the car just to show how well the outter surface is. All molding and panels are in tact as they should be. The previous owner kept the car garage stored when not driven. It also appears as if the paint had been detailed routinely preserving the nice finish. I even took a picture of the dove gray, motorized top closing. There are rips nor tears to the canvas top-its excellent. In addition, the rear plastic window is clear and like new. All four (17" Sumitomo) high performance tires have over 75% treadlife remaining. The spoked alloy rims are free of curb abuse. All four rotors are even like new! These pictures should reflect my comments. This is a sporty/head-turning convertible-do bid with confidence!
The interior, as well, is in great shape. There are no rips nor tears to the light gray leather. The carpet looks rich and is stain free. All gadgets function as they should. The a/c blows strong and cold. The cabin is spacious enough for two adults. Both front seats are powered and comfortable. The brushed stainless panels contast with the light gray interior very well. The glass wind deflector is perfect. In short, the interior is in mint shape.
Performance is impressive-thanks to the 2.7 liter six-cylinder it bears. Acceleration is smooth and very swift. This car averages in around 27 mpg highway! Idling is consistent and quiet. Accelerating, the car gives off a semi deep/montone roar-yet nicely subtle. The 5-speed tranny shifts in a smooth fashion throughout-compliments to the hydraulic clucth system. Being equipped with the optional sport package feature, handling is very responsive and accurate-requiring no struggling in aggressive cornering. The speed activated spoiler ejects over 50mph. The overall ride is a thrill! All four peformance tires grip the road extremely well-dry and wet. There are no fluid leaks nor engine malfunctions to be found whatsoever. Should the vehicle sell locally, I will inform all loyal bidders far in advance. The described vehicle will be sold with a 30 day/1,000 mile warranty (whichever applies first) covering the engine from internal failure only. This warranty stands strong only if the vehicle has not been neglected from date delivered. The winning bidder shall also be responsible for pick-up and/or shippment of the vehicle won. If you are a Maryland state resident you must pay 6% sales tax/processing to have the vehicle registered in the state of Maryland-by law (Maryland buyers only).
