---CONDITION REPORT---
You are bidding on a clean 2001 Porsche Boxster in Seal Grey Metallic with grey leather interior and grey top. This Boxster has a 5 speed manual transmission. We did a synthetic oil change, repaired a broken power seat adj. switch, put 2 brand new rear tires (the close up photo is of the front tire which are newer) and replaced a broken windscreen latch. This car is ready to go. The clutch is rock solid and the car handles like it did teh day it drove off the showroom floor. That's why we drive Porsche's. No rattles or creeks with this car!
Cosmetically it is in very good condition as you can see from the photos. It was not smoked in and has a clean carfax. The passenger side headlamp washer is missing one of the jet tips and there are a few spots on the top (see pics). There are no dents anywhere and I did not see any scratches worth noting. Overall this is a nice Boxster that has been through our Porsche service dept. and is ready to go. This car needs nothing other than a driver.

Motor Werks is the largest luxury car dealership in the Midwest. We currently operate 5 locations in the west and northwest suburbs of Chicago. Barrington is only 30 minutes northwest of Chicago's O'hare airport and Hoffman Estates is only 20 minutes west of O'Hare Airport (Airport Code ORD). Midway airport is a little over an hour to both locations and is a good alternative to O'hare. All of our eBay cars are delivered out of these two locations.
---TRADE-INS---
If you have a vehicle to trade-in that is not a problem. In order to estimate what your vehicle is worth we need to know the following information: VIN, miles, Year/Make/Model, series or edition if there is one (like LTD or SE), color, manual or automatic, and any options like leather, sunroof, heated seats, navigation, etc. and if the car has ever been in an accident. The more detailed you are the more accurate our estimate will be. Letting us know what you expect to get for your vehicle in-trade is also helpful.
---SHIPPING DELIVERY---
We ship cars all over the country on a regular basis. If you need a shipping quote please include your city, state, and zip code in your inquiry. If you would like to come in to the dealership and pick-up the vehicle we can pick you up at O'hare or Midway airport and bring you back to the dealership free of charge and you can then drive the vehicle home.
---GENERAL VEHICLE CONDITION---
All of our vehicles have passed a thorough mechanical inspection. Unless otherwise noted our cars always have a clean CarFax, a minimum of 50% tread remaining on the tires (usually closer to 80% though), good brakes, run great, have cold A/C, receive a fresh oil change, and have no dents or deep scratches, and no stains in the interior. With limited space on our lot for pre-owned cars we only keep the cleanest cars that come in on trade. All others go directly to the auto auction. We have been in business for over 25 years and sell over 5000 vehicles a year. We will go above and beyond to ensure that you are completely satisfied with your vehicle.

Taxes and Registration fees: Out of state buyers are responsible for all state, county, city taxes and fees, as well as title service fees in the state that the vehicle will be registered. All taxes and fees must be paid in full in order for vehicle to be titled and registered.
Title Information: Vehicles titles may be held by banks or lenders as collateral for loans. In many cases there is a delay in receiving the original instruments up to 21 days from the time we pay a vehicle off. While we usually have all titles in our possession at closing, there are occasions where we may be waiting for them to arrive. If payment is made by cashier's or personal checks we will hold all titles for 10 days or until funds have cleared.
Shipping Delivery:
All shipping charges are buyer's responsibility. Motor Werks on Cook Street will help with shipping arrangements but will not be responsible in any way for claims arising from shipping damage!
Licensed Carriers are generally insured for $3,000,000.00. We assume no responsibility for damages incurred after the vehicle leaves our showroom. All shipping arrangements are provided by Motor Werks on Cook Street as a courtesy. We are not affiliated with any carrier. Any claims or other communication regarding shipment of vehicles will be between you and the shipper, not with Motor Werks on Cook Street.
The amount of time it takes for delivery is dependent on the carrier, but is generally 7-14 days from the date the vehicle is picked up from our facility until it is delivered to your destination. Verify with the shipper for an Estimate Time of Arrival to be sure.
Finalizing your Purchase:
Motor Werks on Cook Street will contact the successful high bidder by e-mail after the auction closes.
Successful high bidder MUST communicate with Brian at Motor Werks on Cook Street by e-mail or phone
888-823-2422 within 24 hours of the auction ending to make arrangements to complete their transaction. If we cannot confirm your intention to buy or the sale is not completed within 5 days, we reserve the right to relist this vehicle or sell to any other qualified buyer.
In order to secure bid on vehicle, Successful bidder (BUYER) must within 24 hours of bid closing send to Seller a Deposit in the amount of 10% by major credit card, cash or bank certified funds. Within 72 hours of bid closing, Buyer must send balance of funds by wire transfer, cash, bank certified funds to Seller.
At time of sending initial deposit, Buyer MUST fax copy of their State issued valid Driver License.
