I bought this one a couple years ago and have used it as a daily driver. When I bought it, about 20K miles ago, I did the following work:
New Clutch
New Valves
New Timing Belt
New Balance Shaft Belt
Resealed Motor
New Seals
New Oil Pan Gasket
New Brakes
Resealed Rack
Charged AC (could use a recharge)
I did a number of other repairs as well.
This car is a Daily Driver, runs and drives well. It looks good too, always gets compliments and turns heads since it's getting rarer and rarer to see these babies on the road. Overall it's pretty clean, not pristine or a no mileage collector, but as a daily driver it's pretty nice. It also has an unusual color combo.
Odometer is working, so for a 21 year old car it has just over 8K miles per year of driving on it! It does have the typical dash cracks, but there's a cover as you can see.
I used to restore and sell 944's on ebay up until a couple years ago. This is one of my last cars and I've enjoyed driving it. As you can see, I've got Great Feedback and am happy to answer any questions.
I've only got this one 1987 Turbo left as well as a Pristine 1990 S2 Convertible with a Turbo S Motor (truly one of a kind!) which I've been driving all summer. I put one foto of it here just for you enthusiasts! Guards Red w Black Interior, the classic color combo!
I'll consider selling that one, the 1990 S2 Turbo S Convertible, for $15K, which is far less than what I have into it. Let me know if you're interested in checking that one out!
