UP FOR AUCTION IS A 1987 944S - 190 hp 16 VALVE CLASSIC PORSCHE - PRIDE OF OWNERSHIP IS WHAT THIS AUCTION IS ALL ABOUT.
I HAVE REALLY ENJOYED THIS CAR AND HAVE MADE SOME SERIOUS INVESTMENTS OVER THE PAST FEW YEARS.
UNFORTUNATELY- I HAVE TWO SONS, ONE WILL HAVE HIS DRIVERS LICENSE SOON -HE IS 17 AT THE END OF SEPT, AND ANOTHER IN A FEW YEARS. TOO MUCH TEMPTATION!
DON'T LET THE MILES FOOL YOU. THIS CARE DOES NOT BURN OIL. IT HAS GOOD COMPRESSION, AND MANY COMPONENTS HAVE BEEN REPLACED.
THIS CAR HAS BEEN BABIED OF THE PAST FEW YEARS WITH ONLY ABOUT 10,000 MILES PUT ON SINCE I HAVE OWNED IT.
THIS BEAUTY RUNS SMOOTH AND HAS NO OIL LEAKS.
I BOUGHT THIS CAR ON AN E-BAY AUCTION IN 2003 FOR $5,500 FROM A SAN DIEGO MECHANIC WHO OBTAINED THE VEHICLE THRU A PRIVATE AUCTION IN SO CAL. THIS HAS BEEN A SO CAL AND AZ CAR. HE PUT A NEWCLUTCH, WATER PUMP AND TIMING BELT IN IT BEFORE I BOUGHT IT

- I HAD THE VEHICLE SERVICED IN JULY AT EUROPEAN AUTO TECH HERE IN TUCSON WHERE THEY REPLACED THE CARBON CANNISTER, AND REPAIRED SOME LEAKS IN THE FUEL SYSTEM ($700.46) - RESULT- STEADY IDLE AND PERFECT ACCELERATION.
- THIS VEHICLE IS IN GREAT SHAPE AND A REAL HEAD TURNER.
- REMEMBER, THIS IS A 22 YEAR OLD VEHICLE SO THERE ARE SOME THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW - COSMETICALLY THE VEHICLE LOOKS GREAT OVERALL, HOWEVER, THERE ARE SOME DINGS IMMEDIATELY BEHIND THE REAR WHEELS. THE ONE ON THE DRIVERS SIDE IS HARDLY NOTICABLE. THE ONE ON THE PASSENGER SIDE IS SOMEWHAT NOTICABLE- SEE THE PICS. THERE ARE ALSO TWO SWIRL MARKS IN THE PAINT IMMEDIATELY IN FRONT OF THE DRIVERS SIDE DOOR. HARDLY NOTICEABLE AT 8 FEET.
- THE POWER LOCKS ON THE PASSENGER SIDE ARE NOT WORKING.
- THE PAINT IS ORIGINAL, AND THE VEHCILE HAS BEEN GARAGED - I LEFT THE LEXUS GS300 IN THE DRIVEWAY WITH MY PORCHE IN THE GARAGE!
- I HAVE A SMALL ASSORTMENT OF REPLACEMENT PARTS (TIMING BELT ROLLER CAMS), SPARE HEADLAMPS WIPER BLADES) ETC.
- THE INSIDE IS CLEAN AND REALLY IMPRESSIVE FOR THE AGE FO THE VEHICLE- NO OBSERVABLE CRACKS IN THE DASH, ONLY THE DIGITAL CLOCK DOES NOT WORK.
- THE CAR HAS AN ORIGINAL SPARE TIRE
