This, smooth running, mechanically sound, 1984 Red Porsche 944, is ready to roll. This car is in great condition for its age (according to my mechanic) I am the third owner of this vehicle. I know both previous owners. This car has approximately 90,000 to 95,000 miles. The odometer stopped at 69,000 miles, but we are sure that it is under 100,000 original miles. It has air conditioning, cruise control, a JVC AM/FM CD player, and power windows. It also has a security system, but I had it disconnected because I wasn't sure how to use it. It can be reconnected if you chose to. This vehicle has been sitting in a garage for about 4 years. I bought it, knowing that it had always been taken care of and, because it has been sitting so long, brought it to my mechanic and told him to go through the whole thing. I paid just under $900.00 to have everything checked, including installing new brakes, oil change, replaced a fog light bulb, and got an inspection sticker. Runs real smooth and lots of pick up for a 4 cylinder. Shouldn't have anything mechanical to deal with. As far as cosmetics, the paint is in pretty good shape. A couple, very small paint chips, one near the driver door handle, paint is slightly faded, but I am in the midst of waxing and buffing it out, otherwise, exterior is in pretty good shape. Interior has definate wear and tear. The dash has some cracking and the drivers seat has 2 tears on the edge, where it is constantly rubbed while getting in and out. The passenger seat and backseats in really good condition. Black material on seats says "Porsche" over and over, as a pattern, so I don't want to replace the drivers seat cover, since I'm sure I can't find the same pattern. The "Porsche" floor mats on passenger side and rear are in great shape, but the driver mat is worn where your feet sit. I am very confident in the soundness of this vehicle, and, if anyone would like it checked out with their own mechanic, this can be arranged, at the expense of interested party. This vehicle is located in southern New Hampshire, right on the Massachusetts line. I would be willing to drive it to a reliable mechanic, within a reasonable distance.
