Garage Kept 1985.5 Guards Red Porsche 944!
Here are a lot more High Res Photos! http://s392.photobucket.com/albums/pp10/TRDRacer12/Porsche%20944/
Title Is: EML (Exceeds Mechanical Limits) Please Read Below! Other then that it’s clear!
The car Title is EML (Exceeds Mechanical Limits other then that is it clear! What I think happened is the odometer gear broke on this car and that’s why it was issued that title! This is a very common problem with these cars and this cars gear was already replaced with a new one as stated by 3 previous owners! Other then that the car is solid and looks very good for it's age and mileage!
Up for sale is my Guards Red Porsche 944 1985.5 with the newer interior with phone dial wheels! Car was bought late August 07 from a Dealership. After inspecting the car it looked very well taken care of but had no Maintenance History so I ordered a car fax and everything looked legit until I saw odometer fraud! I looked over all the info and to me I thought this was a mistake cause this was very early on in the years when this happened and the mileage all seemed ok to me nothing out of the ordinary! I did not care about this, so I bought it anyways! Had the car a year now and did a lot of maintenance on it! The Car runs very strong but has a small oil leak. Paint is still good on this car and shines very well just a little faded with a couple of scraps and dents that are hard to see But overall in very good condition for a 23+ year old car!
Interior looks Great and new, both seats are in great shape and have little to no wear! Car has 134,XXX miles on it with full tune up done and inspection as well! Belts and water pump, 02 sensor, wires and spark plugs were replaced at around 95,xxx miles from previous owner. (I talked with him)
------What I fixed/added-------
- Headlight problem, New relay/switch!
- Inspected and Cleaned engine and bay
- Added Rennbay throttle response cam!
- Cleaned wheel wheels and chassy!
- Changed burnt out bulbs in Cluster and Dash with LED's
- New Clutch and Slave cylinders with new Brake fluid and flushed all the lines!
- New brake pads
- Changed oils with Castrol 20w50 for engine every 2,500 miles, and added some MT-90 with lightweight shockproof for the Trans in Aug 08!
- New shift boot with new shifter bushings!
- Flushed and cleaned windshield washer tubs and squirters! As well as the headlight squirters.
- New washer pump
- Added new Sony deck with speakers and remote
- Fixed rear hatch opener motor and cable but the latches and the bolts are old and a little bent, which prevents the hatch from opening under the motor power but can be opened manually! New hardware costs around $100
- Went through the electrical wiring of this car to make sure there was no open or frail wires and cleaned all ground points as it is the culprit in these cars but everything works just as it should now!
-----The bad-----
- Engine leaks a little oil
- Clutch has about 40% life left according to my mechanic.
- Front tires are at 25% and the rears are at 20% thread left! These are only the second pair of tires this car has ever had!!
- The Nose headlight panels and top bumper were repainted cause the previous owner had a braw on the car and it made white patches all over which looked nasty! Tried to match up color as best as I could!
- AC dose not work needs a recharge, still blows a little cold but never really cared to fix it as you got the whole sunroof that comes off and the windows that role down for the summer! Heater blows hot!
This car was only driven on sunny days and hardly ever seen rain, never driven in the winter, and mainly on weekends! IF you want any specific pictures of the car let me know!
Reason I am selling is because I got medical bills I need to pay!
NOTE: I have this car listed localy so I have the right to end auction early! Also If I feel like I am not getting the right money for this car I will not sell it!
