hello, this is a 1972 porsche 914, this car has new paint, base coat clear coat, bahia red, new stainless steel heat exchangers, new bursche muffler, koni rear struts, koni front struts, pedrinni wheels, panited plus pedrinni spare, engine does not miss a beat, no oil leaks, i just reset valves, rocker panels are solid, floor pan is solid, everything works in this car from the interior light in the seat to the engine compartment light,the battery box area is solid,their was a little surface rust on the box itself, i removed it and installed a new one, longitudes are great,front floor pan great, rear trunk pan great, brakes were just gone over rotors turned brake ventage adjusted, they work perfect, this car was garage kept its whole life, you will not find many like this in the north, if you do not have more than 20 ebay positive feed back, contact me before you bid,its a 1.7 ltr, and runs perfect. it also has leather stiched steering wheel, this car is also for sale locally i reserve the right to remove listing if my reserve is met locally, please feel free to ask any questions, call 610 258 2701, car is located in easton pennsylvania, 255 berger rd easton pa 18042, i am going to post another photo, this color is not showing on my camera very well, i will take a pict when sunset comes,

hello, due to the amount of interest in this car i am going to be a little more detailed about the restoration work i have done to it,first the floor pan of the car is original,nice condition, the passenger side rocker panel had some light rust, i had rocker panel so i cut it on the factory seem and mig welded it in their is no mud no fiberglass the seem was in great condition where i made my cut,seem sealed,i have had alot of welding experience, building these cars and vw bug pans for years,the floor pan was preped for under side paint not tar, the exterior body had no dents or rust, to repair, probally the easiest prep i ever done, the paint is base coat clear coat bahia red, and it is a great match, we are a long way from 1972 centari, i have seen a few people try to get it right and failed , the gentelman who does my spraying has been around for quite a while, a credit to his trade, now the brakes, i removed the front rotors and had them resurfaced, cleaned and inspected the wheel bearings, they were in good condition repacked bearings, reinstalled and adjusted them, the reat brake rotors were removed and also resurfaced, reset the ventage and made sure all the brake cables were nice and free, also emergenct brake mechanism on the calipers were in good working condition, the cables and linkages are all in great shape, emergency brake handle control is 100 percent operational, the engine, this motor runs sound, i readjusted the valves, inside the valve chest was absolutely spotless, you can see under the head cooling sheild and the heads have the clean aluminum look, they have hot air constantly blowing over them , and after 90000 miles ,they would in no way stay in that physical aperance ,i rest the timing to 27 degrees, adjusted the air fuel idle, wich i will say adjusted extremely acurate responded great,a sign of proper valve train and compression, this motor does not smoke in the least at start up , the exhaust system is bursche tuned, brand new, the stainless steel heat exchangers are in great condition as the picts show, the oil return pushrod tubes on number two and number 4 cylinder wich are about 2 inches away from the heat excahngers and receive a constant high dose of heat, are still good and solid, not rusted or pitted away, thats also a sign of work done they dont stay that way with all the heat on them constantly for 90000 miles, i am not going to say that it was rebuilt, their is no way of truely telling now, it runs great and is mechanically sound that is the procedure, i put my cars through weather they initally run good or bad or would need to be rebuilt, i have rebuilds ready to go in, if i did not truely beleive in this i would of pulled it and changed the motot, the fuel injection system responds to every adjustment,vacume lines are in excellent condition not dry and cracking also a sign of being replaced, the interior is original the way i got it, 2 small cracks on the dash, the heat controlls all work, the blower fan is a little to noisy for my liking i am replacing that as this add is running, all the lights work, fog lights as well, interior light between seats, the engine compartment light,, the targa top is in very good condition, the seals dont leak but they should be replaced if you want perfection,, the car sat since 2001, i drove it and noticed a little leak by the acess plate, for the steering rack, and i replaced the rack and pinion, the wheels are pedrinni made in italy, two were reconditioned, two where ok, the spare is not in great condition but painted red and usable,i have done alot of work to this as much as time and the pricing of these cars allow me to operate in the green, this is ready for someone to enjoy and find some small peices now and then to make it perfect, reconditioned to me means every little thing being relplaced that is not 100 percent correct, thank you screaming914
