1969 911t with race prepped 1967 engine. I've invested over $40,000 into the car. I have the receipts.
I've had the car for 4 years. The original engine was bad so my mechanic replaced it with a 1967 engine that had been mildly race prepped. Those of you who know Porsche know the 1967 engine. The original dog-leg 5-speed was and is fine. I stripped the paint, had the interior and exterior rocker panels replaced, had the car painted and stripped. The seats were professionally refinished, that's a custom covered dash, the heater works, the $1,000 Cibies on the front are correctly wired. The car is lowered and the suspension tweaked a bit. The brakes are slotted. There are five Fuchs and the Yokos are fresh. The roll bar is bolted in. The glass is fine. I have the original door panels and pockets (they're worth about $1,000) but I recently put on the RS panels so I would't fug up the pockets. There's an external oil cooler. I live in the high desert and the oil doesn't heat over 200 deg. I've put about 1,000 miles on the car driving in PCA parking lot events. The car is fast and solid. E-mail any questions.
