Up for auction i have a 77 T/A 6.6 400 Automatic WS4, Yes this is a Numbers Matching, 80k original miles Trans Am..
I am going to keep the description to what you want to hear, those of you who know this car and what your looking for in it, i will tell you all of the important things..
EXTERIOR: It is all the original metal, it had a custom paint job that was done PROFFESIONALLY years ago the paint still looks great! This is one of the straightest bodies ive seen in awile, no bondo all metal, and no dents!All glass in great shape, all lenses like new! all moulding is there and in great shape! The important thing is as you will see in the pics ( all the seams, doors, rear quarters, fenders etc are the original AND SOLID, the spring shackles are still solid, you can still see the original paint in the wheel wells! and the factory spot welds on the seams.. The only bad is the passenger rocker has one bad spot.. As far as the frame very solid, one bad spot in trunk and thats about it, i took ALOT of pics, if there is anything else you want a pic of let me know i will add more!
INTERIOR: When the car was painted, the original owner before me had a parts car they took the interior out of that one and had it done in custom leather to match paint, it was a small shop that apparently went out of buisness before they got it back so im told, anyway the interior is about 85% original and 90% complete, all of the important parts (hard to find) are in good shape! all guages work except temp is not hooked up, wipers work, power windows work, dash needs to be recovered, along with it needs new carpet, and one of the back seats is missing..
OTHER: It has a new edelbrock carb 4barrel, The shaker comes with car, The car runs awesome, drives like it has 80k, i drive it all weekend.. If you have any other questions feel free to ask.. Also the title was transfered about four weeks ago (it is free and clear) and hopefully i will get it before you pick it up, i have the paperwork to prove it (no Worries check my feedback) Just incase your still leary, i guaratee i will send it to you the day i get it in the mail! or i will give you your money back and an extra $200 for your troubles..)
I Prefer this go to someone who is going to bring it the rest of the way, and knows the value of these growing harder to find cars..
This car is more than an excellent finisher! almost there!
