You are bidding on an all original 1980 Turbo Trans Am Indy 500 Pace Car. The original 4.9 Liter turbocharged engine and 3 speed automatic transmission is a strong combination and runs great. I have replaced the spark plugs, spark plug wires, vacuum lines, transmission filter and tail shaft housing seal. As you can see in the pictures the car is in need of a restoration. The front fenders both have holes rusted through behind the wheels. The right rear quarter panel also has a small amount of rust through. The front seats show wear but the drivers seat is the only one that is ripped. The dash has a 4 inch crack on top just to the right of the gauges. To pass a state inspection it will need a new exhaust system from at least the cataylitic converter back.
This is a great project car, I just don't have the time required to finish what I have started.
