This auction is for a 1979 pontiac trans am that I acquired and just lost interest and dont have time for it anymore. It has 63,381 actual miles. It was stored inside for 15 years until I received it. It has a 403 big block, that runs but does have a fuel problem. Either a problem in the carb or fuel pump, but does run when gas is manually put in carb. The car is numbers matching and has all original engine, transmission and still has all the factory A/C hooked up.The trans is good as far as i know. The car is pretty solid, the frame rails, rockers, and trunk floor are in very good shape. There is a small amount of rust on the lower part of the rear quarter just behind the wheel on the passenger side, there is also a little bit of surface rust on the bottom of the doors. The rear trunk lid will need to be replaced because it is starting to split at the seams. The floor pans on both sides have holes where your feet would go. The are also a few dents on the drivers door, nothing major. The car isnt perfect but is an excellent candidate for a easy restoration. The windshield needs to be replaced. The dash has a small crack, the seats are a little faded but they have no rips or tears in them. All the plastic inside the car including the door panels are in good shape. I encourage anyone that is interested in the car that is local to come and see how nice it is. I am listing this for a friend of mine so I prefer if you have any questions that you call him directly. 810-824-6069
