1977 Pontiac Firebird Body. I bought this car years ago in Austin Texas from a Firebird Collector. My plan was to take all of the good parts from my existing 1977 Firebird and install in this body. The following is what I know about this car: The front nose piece shown in the pictures may be usable. Please note that this car has no motor or transmission and the interior has been stripped of most parts. The front driver’s and passenger fenders are ok, the back glass is not broken, the hood has rust through on the front leading edge, the left and right doors are ok with intact window glass, the rear bumper is ok, the right door doesn’t open due to the handle being broken, the trunk latch is broken, the steering works ok, the windshield is broken, the trunk lid has rust through along the bottom edge, the drivers and passenger quarter panels have some rust through on the bottom, the “T” top has been removed leaving only the opening, the tires need to be replaced, the rims are in good shape , but not sure if from 1977 or some other year. The frame seems to be ok. The included rear spoiler and right and left rear tail light assemblies that were removed earlier are in great shape and have recently been painted. This was to be my dream project car, but I changed my mind and now just want to get this out of my yard. I would prefer to sell locally, but am willing to sell to anyone that arranges shipping. I can assist loading onto a lowboy style trailer for someone with local pickup. This car is rough but I believe it can be restored by the right person. Please look at the pictures closely. I tried to take numerous pictures from different angles to show this as accurately as possible. I also tried to describe the condition of this car honestly as I know. I just want to offer this to someone Firebird fan is looking for a 1977 Firebird to restore. Thanks!
