1984 Pontiac Fiero
General
For sale is a 1984 Fiero in running condition. It is white with a light brown interior with berber carpeting and brown accent added to instrument panels. 2.5 liter 4 cylinder on a 4 speed transaxle. Wheels have been upgraded to the typical Pontiac aluminum wheels of the late 80's. Power lights work, tilt steering. Stereo is factory with the speakers mounted in the headrest in the seats, they all work. Oil changes have been done on time, usually about every 2500 miles. This car is a neat little car, has a few minor issues (listed below), but am having to sell because I have another car I would like to build an engine for as a toy.
Defects
Emergency Brake Cable is disconnected
Windshield wiper controls are wired strangely (Washer works the wipers)
Windshield washer doesn't work
Runs but bad sensor (suspect Idle Air Control) - causes it to run rich when warmed up
Oil leaks (included is a new recall-replacement valve cover screw-in fill cap)
Left corner marker on the front is loose
Odometer stopped around 138,000.. Overestimating actual mileage at around 150,000
Fine paint cracks
Air Conditioner needs a belt
Radiator fan control is burnt. Use AC switch to activate.
A wiring harness in engine bay needs new plug set.
For little effort, this car would be a decent car, but as I stated before I just want the spare money to work on another project that means more to me at this point.
