Vehicle Description
1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder 198k mostly high way miles, 1st owner drove 150 miles one way to work and to Maine every weekend, still runs strong however. Green in color Clean Title 2.0L 4G63 Turbo Manual 5 speed Comes with all possible factory upgrades available in 1998 for the car.
-Major After market addons:
-18" Chrome Zinik wheels, No scratches or dents
-Brand new Kumho tires on front - 2000 miles on back
-Eibach sport springs
-Koni sport struts
-Intake cone for more air
-3" Apex'i catback including 3" testpipe
-Sony head unit/amp/12" sub - can hit 132 dB's
-Mobelspec 4 farad capacitor
-10disc changer in trunk
-Also include's factory struts and springs
-plus more small addons.
-Approximately 8000 added in parts and labor costs.
-Has basically new all new parts such as control arms axles etc underneath. Just did a 4 wheel alignment so tires will not wear odd. Replaces the top motors last summer ($1000). I use synthetic oil and change it every 3000 miles. I have all maintenance records from first owner (he took it to shops even to replace wiper blades) and most all receipts from when I have owned the car, although I normally do small maintenance and upkeep on my own.
-Mechanical condition - Needs head gasket $30, when gasket blew I shut car off as soon as I was able to park it before it even heated up to red.
-Interior condition - leather and dash work excellent needs driver side power lock motor
-Exterior condition - excellent 2 small dings I attempted to picture (could only get 1 of them on film, and some rust near driver front strut tower and some threads broke around rear window
-Overall - I have attempted to get each and every problem with the car pictured so you know what you are dealing with if you have any questions please feel free to ask. With a little cleanup this car can look like it did when it was first drove off the lot.
Has been a great and fun car to drive in the summer as I garaged it in the winter since I owned car. However it does not take me off-road and through fields which there are many of where I live so I am selling it to buy something I can beat on a little.
