Nationwide Auto Restoration LLC
Quality Craftsmanship for the Automobile Enthusiast
Description:
1970 Mercury Cougar Standard Coupe, GREAT Project!!
You are bidding on a great project car for any muscle car lover. This is a standard 1970 Mercury Cougar that needs a good home and lots of attention to get back on the road. As you can see from the pictures this is a project car, not one that is ready for the road but most of the parts are there. This car may be considered a parts car by some or a great platform for a drag car. The complete drive train is there with a '69 model 351 Windsor engine, FMX transmission and 9 rear. It was originally Red with Black Standard interior but the past owners have painted it Blue. The original gauges remain with faceplates. The dash pad is cracked from sitting in the sun too long. The power disc brakes are still on the car as is the power steering set-up. This car is also originally an air conditioned car, the interior parts are there but the engine compartment parts are missing. This Cougar comes with a CLEAR TITLE and Bill of Sale. I purchased this car in a package deal only to resell it. I do not have the time for another project as I have too many Cougars as it is. The Marti Report is also pictured below for this vehicle. This vehicle is sold AS-IS, no warranties. I know this can be a great project for a Cougar enthusiast out there or perhaps a great restomod or parts car. The parts alone are worth way more than the asking price. The buyer is responsible for pickup of the vehicle. VIN and Warranty Plate info is listed in the Marti report below. Please ask questions before you bid.
