Vehicle Description
Description
This is a two seat convertible that includes both the convertible top and a removable hardtop which is nearly impossible to find. This car has been very reliable and enjoyable for me.
I have recently had an alignment done, new fuel pump, new swaybar, new bushings in front suspension, new window switches, and stereo/speakers. This car has been garage kept for most of its life. Approximately 20 years worth of service records are available. This car is in good running and driving condition, and only requires a few small tweaks to be excellent. This car is shifts smoothly and is a blast to drive!. The car has about 115,000 miles on it and runs great. It is a V8 4.5L stock engine.
The car has power windows, Pioneer DEH-P4000UB CD player with Ipod/MP3 player capabilities and 4 new Infinity speakers installed by Ultimate Electronics. The front speakers are Infinity Reference series, and the rears are Infinity Kappa series hidden in the rear storage compartment.
Condition
The paint is about 15 years old and has minor imperfections, but overall looks very good as the pictures show. As with the nature of classic cars it is being sold as-is, where-is.
The console and dash are in good condition but the top of the dash has a few cracks. This could easily be covered with a dash cap or mat. The hood release cable needs to be replaced. A new part is provided to the winning bidder.
The soft top has a small tear and the hardtop has a small dent in one of the pillars. The speedometer cable on the back of the gauge has come loose and needs to be reattached. The gas gauge does not currently read correctly. A local foreign auto mechanic told me that most likely there is a loose ground on the fuel sending unit. The front turn signal assemblys need to be replaced as the bulb sockets are beginning to rust.. The trunk floor needs to be patched as there was a water leak at one time. If you have any other questions or would like to see more pictures call (316) 409-1920 Chelsea.
