At first glance following this RX7 down the street you may think you are just following another cute little rice burner with a coffee can tailpipe and a boom boom radio, but a closer inspection will reveal a professional built muscle car with a very throaty V8 rumble and no expense spared and no corners cut. With the exception of the hole cut in the hood for the air cleaner, the body is an orignal 1983 Mazda RX7 GSL that is rust free from top to bottom still wearing it's original factory paint and pin stripes. Although the original paint still looks great and has a good gloss, there are a few spots that are getting thin. The body damage on this car consists of a small dent on the right quarter panel down low below the trim which is hardly noticable and an easy fix, and there are a few minor door dings that one would expect in a 25 year old car. The factory manual moon roof functions as it should and there are no signs of leakage. The wheels are Panasport Racing and are in new condition with no damage what so ever. The wheels are wrapped in four BF Goodrich Euro T/A's which are near new with slightly wider tires and wheels on the back where the rubber meets the road. All of the glass is in very good condition with the exception of one small rock chip in the windshield low on the driver side. Both power windows function as they should. The interior to be 25 years old is beautiful, there are a couple spots that are starting to show wear, one on the driver seat edge and one on the door panel and the dash pad does have one crack. The console area looks great and houses the Dolby sound system, graphic equalizer, and the BM hammer shifter with a Hurst handle. From the pictures of the body and interior you can tell this car has not been exposed to the outside elements and has spent the majority of it's life in a garage or shop atmosphere. This RX7 has been professionally converted to a small block Chevrolet 350 CI V8 rated @ 320 HP and here is the drive train information: ENGINE * 350 CI w/8,000 miles, scat forged crank, TRW flat top pistons, bored .030 over, balanced and blue printed, late model vortec heads w/ approx 10.5:1 compression, Edelbrock vortec performer intake, performer cam, Crane 1.6 full rocker roller rocker arms, Cloyes double roller timing chain, MSD 6A ignition, MSD distributor, Holly 650 double pumper w/choke plate pulled, BG regualtor, Mallory comp electric fuel pump, All braided fuel lines from the fuel tank to the carburator, Granny's aluminum radiator w/ auxillary electric fan. I have tried to describe this vehicle to the best of my ability but probably missed something that you would like to know, if so please ask questions, or if you would like to inspect the car in person please ask and arrangements will be made. I am selling this car as a project car, "as is", with no warranty. It is a professionally built quality car, but has been sitting in climate controlled storage for sevral years and should be throughly checked out for safety, and tuned and adjusted as needed prior to being put back on the road. The car will start, idle, move and will drive onto a trailer. This car comes with a good Missouri title, and an extra uncut perfect hood. If you have been looking for that unique one of a kind little muscle car then this might be the one. The reserve is set very reasonable for what this car is and the amount of time and money spent on building it. The winning bidder will not be disappointed. Thanks for looking and good luck in the bidding.
