Up for auction 1991 Mazda Miata Turbo Intercooled. (Body has 144,000 plus miles). The body is near perfect. NO rust. The paint is near mint with a very slight scratch in door. NO dings or dents at all. What was done to the car: 1.8 engine and transmission with 100,000 miles All new belts replaced 10,000 miles ago ACT clutch added 10,000 miles ago Garrett GT28 turbo Large intercooler Bell Engineering Fuel regulator HIgh flow Fuel pump Knock prevention sensor (adjusts timing) 17 inch rims with good rubber 2.5 inch stainless steel exhaust without cat short throw shifter Brakes done last year New battery Roll bars new paint last year $3000.00 (some idiot put a very slight scratch in drivers door. I tried to show this in a pic) Roof is in great condition. What the car "needs" Stereo- The car has one with an amp but its nothing special. I had the back deck opened up to allow speakers to be mounted. The car has headrest speakers too. Rear struts. They are still "ok" but it would do better with some newer ones. Cracked windshield. Middle armrest is flaking and shift boot clips are broken. Rear differential is leaking I can say without hesitaton the car has zero engine problems. I have the boost set at 7 (spikes at 9 for a second) which is a safe, moderate setting. I am not one to speed shift or "smash" into gear. The car is fast enough that you can take off quickly and shift "slow" without having to abuse the gearbox to maintain acceleration. The guy that put the turbo into my car has been working on four cylinder turbos for 18 years and really knows what he is doing. It has worked perfectly for the 20,000 miles the turbo has been on the car. I have no shame in offering this car as I have the confidence it is a great, fun car to drive. My wife and I recently bought a 2008 Civic Si and also a 2003 Civic so we are letting this one go. Please don't email with offers of lame trades. (Unless you have a Honda Del Sol or Prelude I might be interested). Thanks
