Vehicle Description
This is my 2001 lotus elise S1. this engine is a honda b16b( jap civic type r motor 185hp).I am the 3rd owner. the story of the car. The car was bought from germany in 1999,one of the last cars on the assembly line. Motor removed and sent to sun international for the honda motor installation. shipped to Ct. the owner registered for street use.Registered witha kit car title to legalize it. Sold to a person in ny. keep it for a 2yrs. Then i bought it, registered it in pa, no problems. I had it for 3yrs so far and enjoyed every minute of it. Reason for selling it, time to settle down.
The Car has a honda motor B16b. dyno was at 187hp/130tq. Great car it get 30city/40hwy doing 80mph. seats are from a lotus 340r. Stereo has a pioneer cd player brand new.Alpine speakers and a pioneer sub behind seat. custom exhaust. Factory wing was added. Rear diffuser was added and i have the factory one. Upgraded brakes and crossdrilled and slotted rotors from ebc. driveshafts are upgraded from driveshaft shop stage 3. I broke the factory driveshaft on the track. The car runs a 12.4 in the quarter at 104mph. the car flys and gets good gas. Best of both worlds.
