As you can see i'm selling a bunch of my cars, motorcycles etc. I am moving and can't take it all with me. I will be away on family vacation while these auctions run, but should still be able to check for questions. Buyer will need to come get their new stuff within 3 weeks of auction end. I will not ship!!!! Its hard to find Turbocoupes and this one is the rare combo of dark grey exterior and dark blue/light grey interior, 4 cylinder turbo with 5 speed trans and posi rear. Car should be towed away, it starts right up, idles well, even runs pretty good but I think the timing belt is one tooth off, after a recent timing belt failure someone else put a new belt on. The exhaust has a bubbly sound to it like the exhaust valve is opening too soon and is very hot. I just dont have time to fix it before I move away. The turbo was rebuilt, but I dont really have much faith in it anymore either (only 5-7 lbs at full boost) and the timing makes it run really hot also. Engine is from an earlier turbocoupe, it doesnt have the intercooler and has the bigger T3 turbo. The title is clear and in my name ready to be signed over. It shows miles exempt, but 171K seems to be accurate. Carfax report shows no problems. New stuff: Exhaust - from the cat back is new as of mid 2006 - single outlet, no leaks. Ball joints, both, a few years ago. Front brake pads, a few years ago. Rebuilt turbo, last year. Timing belt, last fall. Napa battery and alternator, a few years ago. Heater core, a few years ago. Plugs, wires, cap, rotor, ignition modules, a few years ago. Need fixed: A/C - engine components were remoevd, but inside controls are still there. Emergency brake - all there i think, just wont engage. Paint - clear is peeling off and has faded in typical areas - see pic. Starts right up, idles well, seems to run well, but the timing belt broke and I dont think the timing belt was set correctly. Clutch is kinda weak, doesn't seem to accelerate well at full boost and I blame the clutch, it does engage well though. Tranny grinds in to most gears if you shift too quick, i think it leaks oil out rear seal pretty quickly too. Various interior items need attention, the arm rest pads come off too easy and are in the back seat. Body is mostly rust free, but it does have some dings and dents all over. Options: Cruise control in steering wheel - works. Tilt steering wheel - works. 6 way power driver seat, power windows, power mirrors, power door locks - all work. Programmable ride control doesnt work well - car rides like a boat all the time. Power trunk and gas lid releases - works. Rear window defroster has several lines that don't work. What else? Spare tire and equipment tested and functional. Seat belts all functional. All interior and exterior lighting is working except for missing head lights. Tires are pretty shot, good tread but lose air quickly from sitting alot, pass front had a blow out and is in the trunk and spare is on. The dashes in these car are prone to cracking, this one has many- see pic. I put a cup holder on each door as there are none stock, visible in pics. Tint is in bad shape all around, started to peel off back window tint to see out better.
