Vehicle Description
1968 Ford Thunderbird Landau 2 Door Hardtop. Factory 429 big block V-8 with 4bbl. 360hp. factory C-6 automatic. Factory air conditioning that blows cold (still R-12). Fuel, volts, oil, and temp gauges all work well. Vacuum headlight doors work as well. Horn and lights work including sequential taillights. Car runs and drives very nice. Clock doesn't work all the time. The transmission has a slight leak when it sits for a long time( not bad but i wanted to mention it). Car was repainted about 5 years ago. NADA lists the values as follows : low retail $7569 average retail $ 14525 and high retail $ 24763. My reserve is very reasonable. For a 40 year old car it is in great shape. I would rate it an 8 on a scale of 1-10. Drivers seatback has a small hole and the drivers armrest needs recovered, but the rest of the interior is in great shape. The miles are actual. Feel free to inspect the car in person or have and independent appraiser look it over. Because of its age it is being sold as-is.
