you are looking at my 89 ford mustang lx 5.0..car has very low miles..just over 88500 original miles..this car was my daily driver. it runs and drives fine..needs some minor tweeks in some areas..this car does not have a salvage title..its reconstructed!!! but ebay made me put salvage..below is a list everything about my car
exterior
-car does have a few dents in it..the front passenger fender needs replacing
-front bumper has a crack in it..i do have a different replacement bumper that is included with auction
-driver side door has some rust on the bottom of it..common problem with these fox bodies..i do have a replacement door also included with this auction
-the rear driver side quarter panel has a dent in it also
-obviously for 19 year old paint, its seen better days, but overall its decent
-all glass is in good condition..but the moldings around the glass are in rough shape
interior
-red interior, just replaced red carpet with black carpet, looks pretty good
-seats are in good shape with no rips or tears or unpleasant odors
-has all power options, power windows and doors, the driver side door doesnt lock with the button, not sure why
-aftermarket cd player installed
engine
-302 5.0 engine with many new parts on it including..new water pump, timing chain,ngk spark plugs, ford racing wires, radiator hoses, and a new radiator, replaced most upper gaskets, and rear main seal..new tires as well
-does leak a little oil
-has a t5 5 spd tranny, car came an automatic but i had it professionally converted to a manual..it does grind into 2nd gear sometimes..it also leaks a little tranny fluid, automatic tranny is also included with auction
-has 3.55 gears
-flowmaster muffler, sounds good
-front strut brace tower bar
-the car does have an idling problem only for like the first minute of start up then once it settles it idles fine..i think its just a sensor.
-as everyone knows you can make these beasts fast for cheap!
-brakes are good
car is being sold as is..and has a very low reserve..make offers!!!
included with auction is a set of gt40p heads and a gt40 intake manifold, which alone is worth a few hundred bucks, also the replacement driver side door, the replacement front bumper, and the stock automatic tranny..car does need some work but it will drive fine as it is..in fact it passes inspection as it is too! nice project car or just a little fixer upper
