Vehicle Description
Up for auction is my 1991 SSP Mustang ( automatic ) that was in service with the Santa Clara County Sheriffs Office ( unit #91054 ) until 2006. This car was used by the District Attorneys office. Since buying the car it has been stripped to bare metal, and painted original MK Twighlight Blue B/C ( including door jambs ) and wet sanded and polished. I reupholstered the seats with original fabric because of fading, intalled NOS quarter windows, door and trunk rubbers, all 6 front lights, NOS door mouldings, had the rims reconditioned, installed NOS Goodyear Eagle GTs, tuned up the car, serviced the transmission, and collected most of the original equipment. There is also a good condition steering wheel included in this auction to replace the sun rotted one. If you CARFAX the car, it will say that there is an incorrect odometer reading but this is due the mechanic putting in 91054 as the mileage instead of the unit # ( unit 91054 ) Car runs, drives, and smells as new but its time for a new project. Both buck tags are on the car but the door tag was painted over before I bought the car. Car is sold as is so please ask all questions before bidding. The car is 10 minutes from the Canada/USA border in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario Canada. Winner is to pay a $500.00 non refundable deposit at end of auction and contact me within 24 hours to make final payment arrangements. Email any questions you may have before bidding and ALL "0" FEEDBACK BIDDERS CONTACT ME BEFORE BIDDING. Thanks for looking and good luck!!!

All the power window and door lock switches and bezels were replaced with NOS ones last year. I may also be interested in trades. This car is turn key and ready to show!!!! I have almost $15000.00 into this car and a recent appraisal of $18500.00.
A few people have asked what is involved in picking up the car in Canada. Its very easy. Come accross the bridge and tell Canada Customs that you are picking up a car ( ID required ). I would meet you on the Canadian side and we would go to my house ( about 10 minutes from the bridge ) to pick up the car. Turn around time from entering Canada to loading the car and returning to the USA would be about 45 minutes and I will bring you back to the bridge so you don't have to worry about getting lost. I would give you a receipt and " Letter of Compliance " from Ford and you're all set for US Customs. Very simple. Canadians do not bite!!! People seem to be worried about coming into Canada but no problem!!!

I just got off the phone with US Customs and they said the new owner would have to meet me at the US border to allow the car into the country so you would either have to: pick up the car from Canada yourself, meet me at the US side of the border and I would trailer the car accross, or have a transport company pick up the car from my house in Canada and deliver it to your door ( they would take care of all the paperwork ).
