I am selling this car for a friend of mine in Iowa City, Iowa. The owner of this car has no room to store this winter and needs the money for his family due to the current economic times. He knows the entire history of this vehicle from the time it was on the show room floor in Davenport Iowa with a big red bow around it and a large stuffed dog in the drivers seat. I purchased this car from him in the summer of 2000 so he could free up cash to buy another mustang, under the condition if I every sold it I had first chance to buy it back. He bought the car back from me in 2004. This car has had the engine rebuilt with less then 2000 miles driven since. During the rebuild he put on a new Edelbrock carb and intake, comp cam, mac headers with new exhaust system, new water pump, brakes, starter, fuel pump, engine is very clean and 16inch Cobra R wheels original TRX available. This car runs very very strong!!! You wont be disappointed.
The top is very clean and goes up and down good. Body is in great shape with newer paint job done in 2004. New stereo system put in 2007. This is a true 1983 1/2 G.T., one of 1,001 in 1983. I have pictures of it before the re-paint. Never any rust. Always adult-owned. Car has been driven across the United States, before engine was re-built. It had a little "blow-by", which is why it was rebuilt. Engine has always been very strong, and has never let me down.

I made a mistake by stating that car has no rust. At the bottom of the door there is rust. I never saw the rust, but the owner informed me that it is there. Those bidders who have bid on this car can retract their bid without a problem. Sorry for any inconvenience. Thanks.
