You Are bidding on a 1967 ford mustang 390 fastback that is in rough condition. Could this be the next Eleanor? Well maybe.... This mustang can be restored but will take alot of time, money and unibody restoration experience. I just want to be clear that this car while restorable, is not for the novice, or father and son. This mustang might be better suited either for parts car for your existing fastback project, or even better yet this car would be ideal if you had a solid 67 or 68 coupe to turn into the fastback of your dreams. The reserve price has been set at a reasonable price for a vehicle of this caliber. The condition of this car is rough, the floors are rusty and need replaced, the complete rear frame rails are rusted and will need to be replaced. The front rails are pretty solid but will need a small patch here or there. The fender aprons are rusted and have previous patchwork done to them, they must be replaced. The quarter panels. door and fenders all have rust on them and will need to be replaced. Please make sure you look at the pictures, only what you see is included in this auction. This mustang does not include an engine or transmission. The mustang does not have any glass and is missing one door. Somewhere alon the way the 9 inch rear end was taken out and an 8 inch put in its place. Again, prior to bidding please remember this will be a very challenging restoration project that should not be considered or attempted, unless you have plenty of experience with mustangs and specifically unibody reconstruction. This mustang fastback is a restorable 390 car however, this car would most likely be better used as a parts car or a donor car for a more solid fastback or ideally for a coupe to fastback conversion. This car has a clear title. Thanks for looking and good luck!!! Please feel free to e-mail or call if you have any specific questions. 1-800-233-6573 To Everyone interested in this auction: It has recently been brought to our attention by a fellow ebayer that this may not be a true 390 mustang. The reason they said that was because the vin number has been cut from the fender apron, and also, that as stated in the ad that the car now has an 8 inch rearend in it as opposed to a 9 inch which is what was correect for 390 cars. What we know about this car is that it has been in storage for a long time. We received it exactly as pictured on ebay. This mustang comes with an Ohio title for a 67 390 mustang and part of the fender apron from a mustang with the matching vin# on it. Whether or not this title and fender apron section with exact same vin number on it are truly from this exact car or not, is anybody's guess. We just wanted to pass this information along. Thanks for your interest in our auction! This 1967 ford mustang is being sold as a serious project or for parts. This mustang is being sold in "as is where is" condition with no warranties expressed or implied.
