Up for auction is a 1965 ford mustang. I am selling this car for my next door neighbor who has become unable to drive it any longer due to health reasons. Unfortuately he is beyong driving age and his wife will never drive it (its actually her car). So instead of letting it go to waste, they have decided to part with it. They just moved here from Colorado last fall and this car has spent most of its life there. It has a clear Colorado title. This car is an original V-6 car but it has been completely converted to a V-8 in 2007. It currently has an excellent running 289 engine and has five lug wheels all around with DISC brakes in the front. It has the GT style exhaust and the hood and side scoops. The car runs great. The engine is VERY powerful. I took it for a spin over the weekend and it has more power than a regular 289 should. We can't determine what is in it but it has to be above stock...its not a "monster" but it does have very impressive power. The interior in the car looks great as you can tell in the pictures. The original radio plate has been modified. I have seen this done before but this one isnt your regular hack job. It was professionally done as you can see (with fiberglass). The tires on this car are great as well with about 99% of the tread remaining. The wheels are Magnum 500 rims with the spinner caps. The paint looks good as you can see...there are chips here and there however. As far as I can see, there is no rust on this car. I looked under the floor boards, wheel wells and trunk areas and found none. All of the guages and lights/turn signals work. The only thing I found not working was the heater. the box is there however. I didnt want to troubleshoot it for fearing that I might mess something up. If you are in the area, or want to come see this car, please feel free to do so. Just email me and we can set something up. I do recommend you come to see it as I am not an expert on classic cars and do not know exactly what to look for. I have tried to be as thorough as possible in describing the car. I will say however that this car looks and runs really good for a 43 year old. I wish that I could afford to buy it myself, but I just can't right now. Someone will enjoy this car. If you have any questions, please email me. I work from home so I can answer you very quickly. Also, I am available to assist with shipping the car although the buyer will have to arrange it. We did not put a buy it now option on the car but the owners are more than willing to accept any reasonable offers so please send them. International bidders are welcome too.
