This is a FAST, FAST, FAST, SPORTY CAR. It is Fun to Drive! I have a rare 1992 Dodge Stealth up for grabs. Try to find one of these with 51,XXX original miles on it! If you did not know this vehicle was 16 yrs old you would not believe it. Virtually a single owner vehicle since new.(I bought it from the original owner.) Serviced every three thousand miles. This vehicle is very well cared for.
THE GOOD This car cranks right up. It starts and stops on a dime. The car drives as one would expect. It has very nible steering. It corners well! If you are not careful, it will squeel the wheels when starting out a little fast. I do not hear any strange noises when driving. The transmission shifts well. I recently replaced the boot over the stick shift because the original was faded. I replaced the AM/FM radio with a Cassette/CD Sanyo FDX-500 which retails for $250.00. It is Stock inside and out except for the Cassette/CD player. It also has an in dash amplifier. (I have the original AM/FM radio if you would like it.) The interior is MINT. Carpets seats and mats are in excellent condition. They actually look new. The rear cargo cover is here and looks and performs great. The tires are in good shape and have 60% or more tread on them.I would guess they could go for at least 20,000 to 30,000 more miles. The headlights “pop up” and are in working order.
THE BAD
On the outside it has a few parking lot dings. (You have to look to notice.) Some small gravel marks on the hood. It has been in a slow velocity fender bender and has some spider marks in the plastic rear bumper. You cannot tell from 6 feet away. It is not structural, cosmetic only. The paint is a little oxidized but still has a shine.I have noticed a small amount of over spray near the license plate right side on the back of the car. A little paint is on the black band that wraps around the car. The area is less than 1 inches in length. A good buffing would bring it back to new car finish. The passenger side mirror housing has a small crack. It is less than 1 inch long. Quirk: the brake light stays on. I am told this is from a contact point. It stays on whether the brake is engaged or not. The black paint in the rear window well is beginning to fade at the edges. It is not peeling or flaking. All problems listed are cosmetic which could be solved with a paint job.
I am not aware of any other mechanical problems. WA Tabs expire in June 08.
There are many parts listed on ebay for things like fog lights, cruise control, spoilers or turbo if you would like.
There has been no mechanical work that the original owner could remember. The car was his wife's. She drove it in the Tacoma area and purchased it new. I believe him after all it has 50K! They sold it due to her husband's arthritis. He had a hard time getting in and out of the car.I think it was because he is over 6' 1". They said it was time for a Buick. Next service is due at 52,500 miles.
Here is a list of the features and options this vehicle comes with: 3.0 V6 SOHC 12V, 5-Speed Manual Transmission, Front Wheel Drive, Fuel Injected, Air Conditioning, Dimmer Switch, Anti-Lock Braking System, Driver Airbag, Cloth Seats, Power Mirrors, 12 V Outlet, Map Lights, Auto-Fade Dome Light, Bucket Seats, Locking Glove Box, Armrest w/Storage, Power Steering, Rear Defroster, Tilt Wheel, Power Door Locks, Alloy Wheels. NO POWER WINDOWS, NO POWER DOOR LOCKS,NO CRUISE CONTROL.
So with all this good stuff, Why am I selling? I wrecked my motorcycle and gave that up. I bought it to see if a sporty car was “Me”. I love the car but unlike a motorcycle I cannot justify keeping two vehicles for me to drive. I have a Buick Park Avenue.
I will be happy to send more pictures if needed.

Dodge Stealth Consumer Guide® Road-Test Evaluation
An R/T Turbo is frightfully fast. All told, a base or ES Stealth makes more sense for most drivers. Both feel more responsive in daily driving with manual shift. Far lighter in weight, they don't suffer the flagship model's turbo lag or stiff ride. Front-drive Stealths suffer only minimal torque steer, and run quieter. Sadly, the optional automatic transmission keeps the V6 from revving high enough. Stealths suffer a rather claustrophobic 2+2 cockpit that isn't so easy to enter or leave. Elbow room is greater than a Talon or Eclipse, but rear seats are next to useless. Cargo space is scant, too. All-wheel drive on the R/T Turbo is a bonus on wet pavement, though front-drive Stealths also provide fine grip.
Dodge dove directly into the high-performance field with its own version of the new Japanese 2+2 sport coupe. Called 3000GT in Mitsubishi form, the platform was based on that used by the Mitsubishi Eclipse/Eagle Talon coupes. All shared the same wheelbase, but the assertive Stealth and 3000GT bodies measured 10 inches longer overall and six inches wider. Four Stealth models were offered, each with a driver-side airbag and transverse 3.0-liter V6 engine. Base, ES, and R/T models were front drive. A 164-horsepower engine went into the base Stealth
