1986 Corvette.. This is a very straight car that is a good candidate for a full cosmetic restoration or an excellent parts car. I bough the car for 2 reasons.. 1 to work an a car and restore it an 2 because this car is equipped with the Z51 performance suspension.. Many people throw this code around but dont really have it. This car does evidenced by A--- the trim tag says so, B-- you can see the Yellow large bilstein shocks 2 cooling fans 13-1 fast ratio steering, extra large front and rear sway bars, and trans fluid cooler, larger brakes and rotors....Cars with this suspension handle as good as vettes today yes alot harsher, but there is ZERO body roll in this car... this year is the first Corvette in about 20 years to weigh in at less than 3,000 pounds. The car last ran 2 years ago when i got it, but the VATS system is stuck "on" Therefore I cant start the car. I either need a new key or a by pass kit--- i have not had time to do either....but the motor is clean and un modified at all.. here is the info on the system....VATS (Vehicle Anti-Theft System), a simple yet effective feature designed to augment the existing burglar alarm. A small pellet with a specific electrical resistance was embedded in the ignition key, and it had to be read by a hidden electronic "decoder" box before the engine could be started. Please make no mistake, the car needs a full paint job with body work, full interior, the glass top is cracked,, what you are getting is an uncrashed car, with a clean birdcage, frame, suspension and overall body..and of course optioned with Z51...Please see my feed back-- I have never had issues and try to explain the cars as best I can for the price I am selling for its a fair deal if you want to put in the time and have a 350 TPI, ABS, 4 wheel disc brake Vette that does 150MPH all day.......*** I used the Vin 0001 because the title and car are in storage 40 miles away and I dont have the info here....call with questions --- NO TRADES Delivery available within 500 miles for a small fee......call with questions -- 201 400 1368....
