Up for your consideration today, my baby... I hate to sell this but it must be done hopefully I can get another one day. I bought this in September of 2005, I pulled it out of a field in a town just south of Louisville KY. It was a totaled frame, it had never been hit, it was just rusted straight through. The motor was gone, a 350 335hp is what I believe was stock in it. I know it was a 350, just not sure of the HP package. Car has Power steering, no Power brakes though.
I have traveled over 1000 miles round trip in this car just about a month ago, it runs great, the long ratio in the rear makes it a pleasant highway cruiser, it does about 70 at 2600RPM. The car got 19.5MPG on that trip. I have taken it on plenty of long trips and short trips, it doesnt over heat, it runs solid whenever you want to drive it.
I have a few crates of spare parts ranging from interior items, to engine parts, stainless brakelines I never installed, a 1980 tilt and tele steering assembly. Also included is a 250.00 cover that I bought from Mid America Vette.
The Good..
Completely rebuilt frame, used a 78 donor that was handpicked and perfect. Never repaired or cut.. Completely striped, treated and repainted.. All bushings were replaced, the rear spring was replaced with one that had been stripped down and refinished with new plastic bushings. All new body mounts, motor mounts, transmission mounts. There is more money in the frame and driveline than the reserve is set at. Everything on the frame was rebuilt or replaced with new parts. All four brake sets are new. Rebuilt halfshafts, new wheel bearings all four corners. All bushings on the frame and body have been replaced. I have alot of receipts for the parts and any labor that I paid for.
The Frame
1978 Donor frame bought from corvette recyclers in AL. They guaranteed it was never hit or repaired
Stripped completely, rust treated and painted with 2 stage enamel paint.
All bushings (EVERY SINGLE ONE) replaced with new from Vette Brake Company
All new attaching hardware from Vette Brake Company

The motor, 396ci 325hp motor from a 65 Chevelle (according to the castings) GM HI Perf heads. Fully rebuilt, line bored, honed, hatched, fluxed block. Heads were decked, new valves, seals,

The Ttops need to be refinished as they do not match. paint can be included as I have alittle left. There is a long hood on the car, I have a short hood and a functioning wiper cowl that is included also.Needs a new wiper motor, I have a used one that I bought as "good" but have not tested it. Could use new door panels, but these look okay they just use screws to hold them on. No front bumperettes (never had them, or bought any others)
Part of the Fiber optics sys doesnt work (I think the optic lens in the lights is missing)
The radio is not installed but included is a working one,
