1988 Chevy Hatchback Corvette
Removable Hard Top!!!!
Up for auction is a 1988 Dark Blue Chevy Corvette with removable Hard Top, hatchback and 129,553 miles and Tune Port Injection. This is a sharp looking car that runs great and is VERY powerful. It is a 1988 and does need some TLC but is in overall great condition. I am not the original owner but ever since I have owned the vehicle it has been garage kept.
The exterior of this Corvette is dark Blue with removable Hard Top, flip up head lights and a hatchback. The drivers side flip up head light does stick some times when they are turned on, but then will go into position. There are also a few small scratches on the back quarter panel, but other than this the exterior is in good condition and will definitely turn heads!
The tires on this Corvette are in good condition and still have many miles left to ride. (Please see picture) I have listed pictures of two of the tires, one is a little low on tread but is the worst of all of them, and the other picture represents the other 3 tires.
The interior is tan in color and is also in good condition. This Corvette is a manual shift with a 4+3 transmission which shifts great. The steering wheel is has a telescopic tilt which will allow the drive to move the steering wheel up, down, and in, or out! This is a great feature allowing each drive the ability to take that much more control over the vehicle. The coolant light on the dash does come on every once in a while but is probably a sensor and has happened ever since I have owned it, i just have not fixed it. The Air Conditioning does NOT work but it does have it and all other electronic components work great (Power Windows, Power Locks, Driver Side Power Seat). Also, the drivers side sun visor has been dried up from the sun. (Please See Picture) There is an aftermarket stereo installed which is a Kenwood 47 Watts plus 4 model number KDC-MP8017. It is single disk CD player and works great. Also installed with the aftermarket CD player is a set of 3 10" Blue thunder subwoofers. Along with these 3 10 Subwoofers are 2 amplifiers to push them which are one 400 Watt MSX Profile California for the subwoofers and one Kenwood 350 KAC 6201 for the high speakers, and i can tell you this system sounds amazing! On the other hand if you do not wish to have this in the vehicle or are thinking about restoring the vehicle to the original status it can easily be removed.
Again, this Corvette is sharp looking and powerful, but is not in mint condition and could use some TLC.
