This car originaly came from Texas. In 2003 it was trailered to Tennessee, an left in a pole barn untill March, 2005 when I purchased it and brought it to Michigan. It has been under reconstruction untill recently, when I started driving it to seal the piston rings, and break in the engine. This vehicle is driveable, and does NOT require towing or trailering. The frame is solid with NO repairs to it. The cowl and windshield frame had been replaced by a prior owner. The tilt/ telescoping steering column is tight, not loose and sloppy. The only exterior signs that it is a 1975, is the front fender side air scoops, the rocker panels, and the front rear emblems. The frame, differrential, and engine are 1975. The condition of the vehicle is as follows; Wheels-NEW- American racing. Tires-NEW- 8" tread on front, 10" on rear. Brakes-New-calipers, rotors, pads, master cyl,and some lines. Front suspension-NEW-ball joints, tierod ends, springs, torsion bar links, power steering pump and slave cylinder. Shocks- NEW- all four. U-Joints-NEW-all six. Gas tank-Like new-came off a 1980 show car with only 11,000 miles on it. It has the internal bladder, and is rust dent free. Transmission-NEW-front rear seals, pan gasket and filter. Fill tube detent cable seals. ( This is a 1980 THM350 ) Engine-REBUILT- 350 four bolt main, bored .030 over. New L79 Nostalgia Comp Cam, with their lifters and valve springs. Valve stems doubled sealed with "umbrella o-ring" seals. NEW Edelbrock intake with 650 cfm carb. HEI ignition. High torque, high rpm starter. Alternator, battery, fuel pump, and water pump, all new. Exhaust-NEW- Hooker tuned, ceramic coated headers. Flow Master mufflers, and complete custom exhaust system. Radiator-RECORED-and NEW radiator support installed. Interior-ALL NEW-including dash.(not a cover or pad, but a complete dash) Seats are black cloth. (the sun made them look gray in the pic.) Radio is a ETR/cassete, with 4 new speakers. The antenna is hidden between the roof and headliner. The clock is the original 12 volt, point contact operation, (not a quartz), and works fine. T-TOPS-RESTORED- by Melrose-T-Top, in Cortland, IL. These are the M92a mirrored tops. T-top bags and fullcar cover included. There is probably a lot that I have failed to list, so if you have questions or would like to inspect the car before bidding, please e-mail me thru this listing. The items needed to complete this Vette are as follows; 1. Coat of paint, (optional) 2. Window regulator on right side has a worn pivot point, and requires the front corner of glass to be lifted manually 1/2" to seal. 3. The window motor on the left side lacks power. Window goes up half way with door closed, and JUST make's it up with door open. 4. Although the windshield is NEW, a trim screw nicked the edge at installation and caused a crack. (as shown in the pic.) 5. There is a NEW oil pan on the engine, however it drips oil at the drain plug fastener. This may be tig welded???, or the old pan put back on. (which comes with car) I have attempted to describe this vehicle as best I know. I am selling it because I am in my late 60's,and worked on this car almost daily for 3 years. I am burned out, and physically can not do it any longer. I figured it best to sell now, rather than let it sit thru winter, (another 6 to 8 months) while I grow older. Thank's for looking, and good luck bidding.
