1981 Corvette 4 speed.
I believe I am the third owner of this almost restored Corvette. It is very tight and is fun to drive. It has a rock solid frame. I am currently driving it, but I have lost interest in finishing restoration. VIN = 1G1AY8761BS420
Work completed:
Engine:
The original motor had a complete rebuild. Bored .30 over. New clutch, pressure plate and throw out bearing. (300 miles roughly on rebuild)
Transmission rebuilt:
The original transmission was rebuilt. New syncros, seals, and bearings.
Suspension:
New control arms, shocks, new mono leaf spring, steering box, brakes and rotors. (installed at corvette sports)
Other:
New exhaust, firehawks tires and alignment, carpet (front only), dash light circuit board. Frame rock solid. Was a southern car for most of its life.
What is still needed: But not limited too.
a. Needs body and paint work. (have complete weatherstrip kit new in box)
b. I currently have the smog pump and air out of it.
c. I do not have the key for door locks so locks should be replaced when painted.
d. Seats could use recovering.
e. Dash over glove box has a crack.
I have tried to list as much info as possible. If you would like more photos I can certainly send them. This car is being sold as is with no warranties. I would possibly entertain trades on items of equal value.
