All my offerings are put through a service/safety check by a professional mechanic to be sure they are safe and road worthy. This includes an oil change and an inspection of the brakes, belts, hoses, cooling system, fluid levels, etc. Of course, every vehicle will ride and drive with the engine, transmission and suspension performing as expected. If you would prefer to have a third party inspect the car before bidding, I am most willing to help you facilitate that. I know of several shops in town that will deal with you directly or you are welcome to locate one on your own. Either way, I will deliver the car there for you and pick it up after inspection for no extra charge. Of course, the shop would charge a nominal fee and would bill you directly, but I will even reimburse your inspection charges if you end up buying the vehicle!!!
I know it can be hard to buy a vehicle that you can't see in person, so I will do my best to present it as well as I possibly can through pictures and accurate description. What you will get from me is an honest, down to earth presentation with any cosmetic or known mechanical issues disclosed. If you have been looking for a quality pre-owned luxury convertible with low miles, then you definitely need to check out this sharp looking 1993 Cadillac Allante!! What a great looking vehicle and with just 69K miles! According to Autocheck, this vehicle has always been registered right here in sunny Florida and has never been involved in any accidents. That is why you won't find any rust on this car or any of the other problems that come with cars that have been exposed to harsh winter conditions. Even the underside is clean and fresh.
Inside and out, this 1993 Cadillac is in excellent condition. The Allante red exterior paint looks awesome and still has deep shine and color. The black convertible top is also in excellent condition with no rips, tears or fading and this Allante also comes with a matching hard top that is also in excellent condition. The only minor exterior blemishes include a small one inch dent on the rear quarter panel next to the trunk as well as a small paint chip on the trunk which has been touched up. There is also a small crease on the top of the trunk lid close to the convertible top which I believe is the result of someone taking the hard top on and off. Both side mirrors also have some fading and chipping that is hardly noticeable. None of these minor blems are a very big deal especially for a 15 year old vehicle and none of these things take away from how sharp this car looks! This Cadillac has that clean, well cared for, garage kept look we all like to find. This is definitely a vehicle you would be proud to have sitting in your driveway.
The interior of this 1993 Allante is also in excellent condition. It is fresh, clean and comfortable with no signs that this car was ever smoked in. The black leather seats have no rips or tears and there are no stains in the carpet. The interior is still in great condition especially for a 15 year old vehicle! Everything power still works great and includes dual power seats as well as power windows, mirrors and locks. The air conditioning blows ice cold and the factory stereo system sounds great and is equipped with AM/FM radio as well as cassette and CD players. Unfortunately, the CD player is not working correctly. There is also a problem on the information center. It displays messages saying "service ride control" and "change oil" and although the oil has been changed and the ride is great, these error messages will not reset. If you can live with these error messages knowing the car has been serviced, then you will get a great car for a great price. This Cadillac Allante really does everything it was designed to do very well. It's the kind of vehicle I would gladly sell to a friend or family member, so that should tell you something.
The ride and drive of this Allante is also excellent and with my service/safety check done it's ready for any road trip or daily duty! The Firestone Affinity tires all have about 85% treadlife remaining. The Northstar V-8 engine offers a powerful performance as well as dependability, long life and easy maintenance. It has that nice, tight feel of quality and the condition speaks of a well cared for vehicle, so you can look forward to alot more life out of this one, especially with just 69K miles! Drive this 1993 Cadillac Allante for as long as you like, it will still cost you very little to own. Of course, it will still be worth good money if you keep it this nice. Bidding/Buying Policies
I ask that all successful bidders please contact me within 24 hours of auction end to begin process of completing the sale.DO NOT BID ON MY CARS IF YOU ARE NOT GOING TO FOLLOW THROUGH! I have no patience for people wasting my time and ruining my auctions. I promise to be fair to you, please do the same for me. This is not a video game, this is my livelyhood!
All vehicles are sold "as-is" with no warranty expressed or implied. The vehicle will be described as accurately as I can, but remember these are used cars, they will show signs as such. As stated before, each offering is serviced and safety checked before selling, but you are not bidding on brand new cars. There will be parts of the vehicle that are not new! Depending on the age of the vehicle, the various systems involved will be at different levels of wear and there may be the typical, small touched up chips/scratches/blemishes and other signs of normal wear that you would expect on used vehicles. I am sure this is obvious to most people, but I just want to make it clear. I will do my best to describe all the obvious and important things so you have a good idea of what you are buying, but I encourage you to call with any questions you may have before bidding as these vehicles are sold as is. I will be more than glad to walk around the car while on my cell phone and describe everything I see to give you a hands on view. Again, you are encouraged to have the vehicle inspected before bidding to buy. I know of several shops in town that will deal with you directly or you are welcome to locate one on your own. Customer is responsible to obtain their own insurance on any vehicle purchased. Insurance is provided by the transport company for all vehicles during shipping, but my insurance ceases to cover anything once it is sold. Sold being described as when funds are receved in full, not at the time the vehicle is delivered.
According to Federal guidelines, all vehicles 10 or more years old are sold exempt from mileage guarantees unless specifically mentioned. If I have documentation to back up the mileage on these older cars, I will.
Payment will be made by cashiers check, money order or bank to bank wire transfer. I may accept personal checks or credit card checks, but they MUST clear before delivering the vehicle. A $500.00 deposit will be expected within 3-5 business days following close of auction and remainder paid within 14 business days. If you have a special situation, please feel free to call ahead of time to discuss.
Florida residents must include 6% sales tax. According to Florida law, if an out of state purchaser takes delivery of a vehicle in the state of Florida I am obligated as a licensed dealer to collect sales tax at a rate equal to the purchasers state sales tax and not to exceed 6%. The purchaser will then be given a notarized form from the State of Florida proving tax paid to present to their tax collectors office for sales tax credit. Any additional fees or taxes will be the responsibility of the purchaser. This does not apply to vehicles shipped out of state, only ones picked up in Florida.
Buyer assumes the cost of shipping. I already have contacts to ship the vehicle anywhere in the USA, I will arrange this for you, and give you cost estimate ahead of time. If you are going to fly in and drive home, I will gladly pick you up from the Ft. Myers International Airport and provide you with a free 30 day temporary plate for your vehicle. You must have insurance before a temporary plate can be issued.
All titles are guaranteed to be clean and free of any liens. If you would like documentation, contact me, and I will get it for you.
Any buyer with a negative rating will be ignored unless he contacts me first with a good explanation. There is no sense in running up the prices by people who have problems following through with commitments. Remember you are entering into a legally binding contract. I WILL GIVE NEGATIVE FEEDBACK ON ANY FINAL BIDDER THAT REFUSES TO HONOR HIS OR HER OBLIGATION!!!
