Vehicle Description
An absolutely stunning and exceptional example of this original southern California owner car with a very low original 59K miles! Purchased from original southern California owner's estate sale in the sunny desert town of Palm Springs, California with original owners manuals available! Obviously always garaged from the desert sun with no sun damage or discoloration to the dashboard as is so common with these models and with no accident or damage history of any kind and with absolutely no rust whatsoever! Owned and driven by obviously very careful and mature non-smoking drivers since new - never abused - babied all the way! The car's factory options include: the 4.5 litre V8 engine with four speed automatic transmission, factory chrome wheels and a digital instrument cluster. Only 1,931 models were produced in 1992 with a list price of $57,170, Cadillac's answer to the European roadsters was to beat them at their own game with European styling by 'Pininafarina' of Ferrari fame. Pininfarina built and trimmed the bodies and mounted them to platforms air-freighted to Turin, Italy via Alitalia 747's from Detroit! According to the 'Allante Club of America' VIN database this car is only one of only twenty-one 'Light Metallic Blue' cars produced in 1992 and one of only 374 total production of that color. The original factory 'Light Blue Metallic' paint is in absolutely gorgeous and virtually flawless condition! The 'Black' leather interior is also in immaculate condition throughout with virtually no signs of wear and every option is working as it should including the ice-cold A/C and the power assisted soft top. This particular model must be seen to be believed and driven to be fully appreciated - the car drives as good as it looks with Cadillac's famous smooth and luxurious ride - no shakes or rattles and the considerable power of it's 4.5 litre V8 engine purring almost imperceptibly under the hood! The engine is extremely strong and responsive, the transmission shifts smoothly through the gears and the temperature always remains cool.
