- We require the $500 deposit within 24 hours of the end of auction We accept money order, cashier's check for the deposit. The rest of the balance must be paid in full within 5 days after the end of auction by cashier's check, money order, cash or wire transfer.
-Car Ex has disclosed as much information as possible about this vehicle. We welcome pre-purchase, onsite inspections by competent parties or authorized service centers after winning the auction ($500 deposit required, refundable if the car does not match the descriptions). All vehicles are available for inspection by appointment only. Buyer is responsible for ALL fees and charges for inspections made at buyer's discretion.
- All buyers pay a $50.00 documentary fee, and $125 preparation fee. All buyers must pay the Texas Vehicle Inventory Tax, which is .002461%, of the purchase price (i.e. - $24.61 per $10,000). Texas residence must pay 6.25% sales tax if registering in TX. Out-of-state buyers are responsible for their own taxes in their own states.
- In the State of Texas, titles to vehicles are held by banks or lenders as collateral for loans. In many cases there is a delay in receiving the original instruments up to 21 days from the time we pay a vehicle off. While we usually have all titles in our possession at closing, there are occasions where we may be waiting for them to arrive. We guarantee clean titles on all our vehicles, and are a licensed and bonded dealer in the state of Texas. Titles will be sent with tracking numbers and delivery confirmation.
-Car Ex will contact the successful high bidder by email after the auction closes. You must respond by phone or email within twenty-four (24) hours to confirm your intention to buy. The $500 deposit must be received within 24 hours, the sale must be completed within 5 days after the auction closes (please notify us for any exceptions). If we cannot confirm your intention to buy or the deposit is not received within 24 hours, we reserve the right to re-list this vehicle or sell to any other qualified buyer.
