Up for auction is a 1966 Austin Healey Sprite Mark III. I bought this car with the hopes of restoring it. Two years later I still have it and I've done very little to it. It runs and drives. It would be a very simple restoration. The car needs a new paint job and interior. The tires are cracked from sitting for so long. It has been garaged from the day I bought it. The original owner took exceptional care of this vehicle. He kept a log of everything that was done to the car. The motor has been switched out to a 1275cc. It has a newer convertible top, and the original tonneau cover. I have the original Sticker from the dealer!! Read through the logs and it's like taking a walk in history. The original AM radio still works!! Everything on the car works with the exception of the heater. I think that it is just a wire that has come disconnected. I bled the brakes and the clutch so it is driveable. I start it monthly to keep all the parts lubed and occasionally take it for a spin around the block. You won't belive the compliments I get in the conditon it is in. I have the bumpers for the car. It comes with two sets of air filters for the carbs, and lots of extra parts. It comes with the log and receets for most of the work that has been done. I also have the original shop manual for it. This is a real nice car unfortunately I do not have the time nor the money to restore it the way it deserves to be done. You are bidding on this car as is.
