1992 Alfa Romeo 164S, 3.0 liters, 200hp. The S model came only with a 5sp manual trans. I have owned the car for 8 years and have kept it in the best possible condition mechanically and cosmetically. Since owning the car I have replaced many parts to include clutch, radiator, injectors, struts, front suspension joints, exhaust system, alternator, fan motor and the timing belt along with the water pump were last replaced in Sep 06. The car has covered about 10K miles since changing the timing belt. Oil and filter have been changed every 3K miles. The car has also been tuned as needed. It has NGK iridium plugs as well as an KN air filter. All work has always been done by Alfa mechanics. AC has been converted to R134 and it works. The original adjustable front suspension was replaced with non adjustable struts from a 164LS.
Cosmetically the exterior is in great shape. The wing has been repainted, the windshield, and the rear deck stoplight have been replaced with new parts. The interior is in great shape except from some slight discoloration in the carpet and the leather has a small crack in the front drivers seat . (See Photo)
I am the third owner and have all the repair and maintenance records from early 1999 when the car had 76K miles. The car currently has 159K miles.
It runs extremely well, engine runs smooth and strong and it does not run hot. The trans shifts smoothly. The steering is tight with no vibration.
The car has the owners manual, original tools and jack. as well as an evolution all weather car cover.
